Pro: These sellers are ready to sell. You don’t need to cold call or send postcards to your friends and family - FSBO’s are already selling - they’re just waiting for someone to come along and help them find the MLS.
Con: Many agents know this and market to FSBO’s religiously. It’s a competitive niche for agents, but if you figure out a system that works for you, you can close many deals a month from this source.

Persistence, persistence, persistence. The NAR Annual Survey also reports that more than half of all sellers will list with the agent that first contacts them, and even moreso those who they have a relationship with. So being there first and building a relationship is very important to your FSBO marketing campaign as a real estate agent.
